CASTLEN M. KENNEDY was named senior vice president, HR and Corporate Affairs, overseeing Corporate Communications and Public Affairs, Human Resources, and Egypt joint venture corporate services in January 2025.
She previously served as senior vice president, Corporate Affairs and Marketing. Prior to this role, Ms. Kennedy served as vice president, Corporate Communications and Public Affairs, from July 2015 after serving as director since 2014. Ms. Kennedy joined as manager of Apache’s Government Affairs in 2006 advocating on behalf of the company before state and federal officials. She joined the Investor Relations department as manager in 2011 and was promoted to director in 2014, interacting and communicating with Apache shareholders.
Prior to joining the company, Ms. Kennedy served as a senior policy advisor at the U.S. Department of Energy, a business analyst at S&B Infrastructure, and a financial analyst on the commodities desks at RWE Americas and Enron Corporation.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in finance, a master’s degree in public affairs, and a master’s degree in energy and earth resources from The University of Texas at Austin.
