KIMBERLY O. WARNICA was appointed executive vice president and chief legal officer in January 2025.
Prior to joining the company, Ms. Warnica served as executive vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary at Marathon Oil Corporation. From 2018 to 2021, she held similar leadership positions at Alta Mesa Resources, Inc.
Ms. Warnica’s career began at Andrews Kurth LLP (now Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP), and she has also held significant roles at Freeport-McMoRan Oil & Gas Company, formerly Plains Exploration & Production Company.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from Texas A&M University and a law degree from the University of Texas School of Law.
