Apache Celebrates Black History Month

Apache Celebrates Black History Month 2021

In honor of Black History Month, we would like to shine the spotlight on two members of our team.

Veronica, Senior Benefits Analyst
Veronica began her career with Apache 28 years ago as a telecommunication specialist. She transitioned to a role in HR and her portfolio has continued to expand. When asked why she enjoys working for Apache her answer is simple “the people!” During her time with the company, she has visited various Apache offices in the U.S. and always enjoys providing her colleagues with direction and answers to benefits questions. “Apache has been wonderful to me and I believe that great people can make a dynamic company.”

Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with her close-knit family, watching football games and staying in shape. She is married with two children and five grandchildren.

William, Midstream Operations Foreman
William is the Midstream Operations Foreman at the Diamond Cryogenics Complex outside of Pecos, Texas where he helps to oversee operations for all central processing facilities. He joined Apache in the summer of 2017 as a control center operator and later oversaw the Altus Midstream remote operations center. When asked about his time at Apache, William said he has been “extremely fortunate to work with and for experienced, knowledgeable and highly motivated personnel.”

When not working, William’s hobbies include building furniture, playing poker and honing his baking and cooking skills. However, his favorite hobby is spending time with his eight-year-old twins and wife of 15 years.
