Our approach to sustainability
APA is committed to transparency and accountability when providing progress on its sustainability initiatives and results. The company has evolved its reporting into multiple complementary publications focused on specific information, and when read together, they provide a comprehensive overview of APA’s sustainability strategy and results.
APA seeks innovative ways to meet the global need for oil and gas. The company is committed to providing these resources as cleanly, efficiently and economically as possible.

The report provides progress on 2025 goals, yearly highlights, key performance data and new goals for 2026.
Our Approach to Sustainability
The report details our ongoing sustainability programs and initiatives, including our sustainability philosophy and management in the areas of environmental stewardship, communities and people, and governance.
TCFD Analysis
APA has aligned its climate-focused scenario planning analysis with the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) framework. APA will update the TCFD Analysis every other year, based on revisions to external and internal data.
Reporting Standards and Frameworks
APA will report and index all content according to internationally recognized reporting standards and frameworks. Those indexes are provided in Reporting Standards and Frameworks.
