We are committed to being a workplace where all employees are valued and can thrive with a sense of belonging, not just as an employee, but as a person. This benefits the individual, our company and our stakeholders; we are better as an organization when various ideas and perspectives are brought to the table.
We embrace the idea of continuous improvement in all that we do, and our diversity and inclusion (D&I) journey is no different. We are committed to continually making changes throughout our organization to foster a more inclusive and diverse workforce.
“While we don’t have answers, I know we as a society must change. The path forward will require more listening, understanding, and courageous conversations. We are coworkers, but we are also friends and part of a family. We are committed to being a workplace where all employees are valued and can thrive with a sense of belonging, not just as an employee, but as a person.” — John J. Christmann IV, Chief Executive Officer and President
In 2020, we expanded our D&I efforts by evaluating our processes and programs to enhance our D&I strategy. As part of our strategy, we focus on continually educating our employees on diversity and inclusion, growing our employees through career development initiatives, and standardizing our recruiting practices.
We have a long-term commitment to increase the diversity of our organization and continue to focus our efforts on being an inclusive workplace that welcomes and respects diverse backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives. D&I is vital to our long-term success and a top priority for Apache.
