GARY T. CLARK was named vice president of investor relations in August 2014.
Prior to joining the company, Mr. Clark was vice president of investor relations and research at Chesapeake Energy Corporation since 2012. Prior to that, he accumulated 18 years of experience on both the buy-side and sell-side oil and gas equity markets. His buy-side experience includes serving as senior securities analyst with the State Teachers Retirement System of Ohio and co-portfolio manager with Dynamis Advisors, LLC. On the sell-side, his experience includes serving as senior exploration and production (E&P) coverage research analyst with Stifel, Nicolaus & Company, Inc., where he was selected by The Wall Street Journal’s Best on the Street ranking as one of the nine “home-run hitters” across all sectors and firms. Mr. Clark began his career in Apache’s Treasury department in the early 1990s.
Mr. Clark holds a CFA designation and is a graduate of the University of Colorado at Boulder with a degree in business administration/finance.
